KCRW was contracted to facilitate a series of public meetings to envision the future of the Cumberland River on its two-mile course through downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The firm was then asked to join a design team headed by internationally acclaimed landscape architects, Hargreaves & Associates to facilitate public involvement and conduct peer design review in urban design for a twenty-year plan for Nashville’s downtown waterfront. The plan was completed in late 2006 and implementation is underway.
